Welcome to Ultimate Dog Training Behavioral & Training Specialists by Certified Trainers Puppy & Me - 8 to 14 weeks of age. Puppy & Me is for puppies from 8 to 14 weeks of age. A very specific program designed to build on that special relationship and bond between you and you pup by helping you bring out their very best! We work directly one on one focusing on your handling to help you become a confident owner who communicates efficiently with the skills your puppy needs to clearly understand what you are asking of them. We start first with identifying your pups basic temperament and personality and how these will affect their adult behaviors. This 4 session program which meets once a week, teaches you to understand your puppy’s’ behavior, develop communication skills and produce the appropriate behaviors as a head start to a well behaved adult dog. Our goal is to make you competent in teaching the skills such as: come, sit, stay, leash control, along with the manners of: door safety, no jumping, biting or chewing, how to be calm in the crate, house training, handling for Vet and grooming, house training, how to meet and greet guests properly. This program helps you have a super pup and start your puppy on its path to becoming a great dog! Two free Sunday Socials are included to build social aptitude after your puppy has required Distemper and stool clearance. No shots required. Learn-Play & Grow - 12 weeks to 20 weeks of age. This group class covers learning basic skills, building social proficiency and developing the confidence that creates a stable adult. Five class sessions for puppies from 12 weeks to 20 weeks of age. Our puppies are like sponges just absorbing everything around them, be sure you are giving them the right information! Learn effective leadership, the basic language skills of come, sit, down, stay and leash manners and develop a knowledge of canine speak. Your pups will learn to understand what you ask and how to respond properly. They will also have play time to build social aptitude and offers confidence builders to prepare them for adult life. This group class is not only fun but highly informative and functional for all puppy owners! Two Distemper shots and a negative stool required. Basic Level 1- For dogs from 20 weeks and up. Teaching your dog to focus on you is first and foremost in this class! This is a beginner’s level program for those with minimal or no previous training. A 6 week program meeting once a week, focusing on beginning basic leash and collars skills such as: “Look”, ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘walking nicely on leash’, ‘automatic sit’ and ‘come’! We also answer question about various behaviors and create proper manners of no jumping, barking, and chewing and how obedience can help stop unwanted behaviors. Proper leash and collars along with specific treats are required. Proof of shot record which includes rabies ( dogs over 6 months), distemper and negative stool are required for this class. Basic Level 2 - Dogs over 6 months. Pre-requisite Basic Manners 1 or equivalent.) This course is an extension of the Basic Level 1 program by adding greater distance and distraction and raising the bar on what they have learned. Recall from a distance, reliable commands with higher levels of distraction brining your training into real life scenarios. This progression and continuity in training develops more responsibility on the dog rather than you, we aim to build even greater focus, impulse control and reliability. This course ‘moves your training up a level’! You’ll be glad you did! Proper leash and collars along with specific treats are required. Manners Level 1 - Dogs over 6 months. In four private sessions you will have a calm, well behaved and well mannered dog. No more jumping, barking, pulling on leash or destructive behaviors! Sanity will prevail as you become a confident owner and your dog understand “how to” meet your expectations. You dog will learn to come every time they are called, sit each time you ask, go to place during dinner and when guests visit, walk nicely on leash, stop chasing the cats or other dogs, no barking, wait before going through the all doors (house & car) as a safety command. This training focuses on you and your immediate needs. Manners Level 2 - Dogs over 6 months. Manners level 1 is a pre-requisite for this high level distraction class. This real life training program “bumps up levels” to have a dog who not only listens but listens in and around other dogs running and playing. A group program brings dogs into a learning level beyond the basics. This is where training gives your dog the greatest joy in life, to run free and be a natural dog. This class takes your training to off leash control. Off leash Heeling with other dogs running around your dog in play. Sit at a distance with other dogs chasing toys. Come from out of group play. Stay while other dogs play around them. This is training that allows you to take your dog any where and have consistent response and control under the greater levels of distraction found in real life. Day Training - Puppy thru Adulthood. This is our premiere program for busy owners seeking to train their dogs but have little time and daily constraints to take your dog to classes. It combines the best of both worlds between sending them away for training and having them home each night. Training takes place in home much like a pet sitting service. We train your dog daily in your home while you are at work. Your dog receives private one on one training with a certified trainer. A video library of your dogs’ lesson will be available on line for you to review daily for one month and you follow the program in your time frame. Your dog will learn all the basic commands plus manners primary for you and your setting. We will meet once a week for follow up handling lesson. You then bring your dog into two free group classes as your schedule permits to work with higher levels of distraction. This program gives it all! The benefits of having the trainer handle your dog, freedom of scheduling, daily revue of video lessons on your schedule and group classes for distraction all on your time frame! No one else offers this intensive program that works especially with your scheduling.
